Seasonal Flu Clinic
According to Health Canada, an estimated 4,000 to 8,000 Canadians, mostly seniors, die every year from pneumonia related to flu and many others may die from other serious complications of flu.
A Flu shot is an easy way to protect yourself. We recommend you get a Flu shot in October of each year, as Flu season typically runs from November to April.
Flu shots are strongly recommended for infants (6 to 23 months), pregnant women, seniors, and people with chronic heart and lung diseases.
The Flu shot is free for these Nova Scotia residents who are most at risk for complications from the flu, and for health care workers, police officers and firefighters.
Flu shots are provided by appointment only.
Please note: Children 13 years of age and under must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.
